Pepper is a beautiful black and white show-type springer who is 6 years old and neutered.

 Pepper is highly energetic and loves to go on long walks and to swim.  He is obsessed with tennis balls and can carry two at a time! He will not always give them up, and can be naughty and steal them from other dogs!

 Pepper’s new owner will need to be willing to carry out some further work on his recall especially as he has a strong  prey instinct and will chase birds especially pheasants and ducks and ignore commands. Because of this, his current owner exercises him on a long lead, and he has not been off lead in open spaces for a long time. Due to the need to continue his training on recall and commands, NWESSR believes that Pepper would be well-suited to an experienced springer home who will work with him on these issues.

 In the home Pepper is a very relaxed and loving boy. He is happy to be left for short periods. He has previously lived with a teenage child and also lived happily with a terrier cross dog.  He generally ignores other dogs he encounters while he is out, and he is also not usually interested in cats. Pepper travels well in the car.
